Sony is allowing mod support with one caveat. Sony has informed us they will not approve user mods the way they should work: where users can do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition. The Skyrim and Fallout publisher hinted at why Sony had issues with mod support in a blog post in September.
Last month, Bethesda said mod support wasn’t possible and pointed the finger squarely at Sony. Mod support is inbound for Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4. Whatever obstacles facing Bethesda have been hurdled.
